I’m Parker Davies. I grew up here, learned to surf at Port Fourchon, and went on to surf around the world. After traveling and living off grid, I’m rooted in New Orleans again, raising a family and building a life here.
Through Louisiana Land Art, I work on outdoor construction and stormwater systems. This idea brings those worlds together: recreation, practical knowledge, water, and a community that makes things happen.
New Orleans has no shortage of imagination. I want us to have the places to put it to work.

A few things to know.
Is the park already being built?+
Not yet. Surf NOLA is an independent concept and community-building effort. No location, funding, approvals, or opening date is confirmed. The work now is to show interest and assemble the people needed for feasibility and site selection.
Do I need to be a surfer?+
Not at all. Fishing, gardens, aquaculture, construction workshops, education, and living-with-water demonstrations are central to the idea. Your interest helps shape the mix.
Will it be affordable and accessible?+
Broader recreation access is a core goal. Pricing, public access, youth programming, and possible subsidy models still need to be developed with community and operating partners. No admission prices or access guarantees have been set.
What happens when I add my voice?+
Your signup is saved as an expression of interest. It helps us understand which activities people want and identify potential collaborators. It is not a reservation, donation, investment, or promise that the park will open.
How will you use my information?+
Surf NOLA, an initiative led by Parker Davies, collects the name, email, optional ZIP code, interests, role, and any message you submit to understand demand and follow up about the project. Brevo processes submissions to deliver email notifications to our team. Individual submissions are not displayed publicly or offered for sale. Grouped, non-identifying interests may be used in project conversations. Information is retained while this community effort is active. To stop outreach or request deletion, email info@surfparknola.com or reply to any project communication. The interest form does not subscribe you to our newsletter or send a confirmation email. Newsletter signup is separate: Brevo processes your email and consent, sends a confirmation link, and manages the update list. You join that list only after confirming. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. We also measure visits and link clicks using a random, daily browser-tab identifier, broad traffic sources, and aggregate action counts. Analytics do not store your IP address, email, full referring URL, or form content. Measurement records are retained for up to 90 days. We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control.
